Welcome to the Marion Oaks District.  I am Lieutenant Danny Rosa and it is truly an honor to be your District Commander. 

The Marion Oaks District opened in 2003 with four deputies and one detective and encompasses the communities of Marion Oaks, SummerGlen, Florida Highlands, and Spruce Creek Reserve off of SR-200. This covers an area of over 87 square miles and serves a population of over 22,000 citizens. Currently there are seven deputies and one detective assigned to the district. The district office is located in the Marion Oaks Community Center next to the library. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The office number is (352) 402-6030.

The primary duties of the district deputies are to provide uniformed patrol, traffic enforcement and assistance to the citizens of the community. The Marion Oaks District is also covered by an active volunteer citizens patrol group, M.O.V.E., whose specialized volunteers provide additional patrol in the community of Marion Oaks.
